Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has a niche for working with children and adolescents to join our team! The W-2 employee will provide in person and online individual and/or group therapy to children, teens and adults by engaging in information gathering through biopsychosocial assessments, problem/symptom identification, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Assess personal mental health needs of clients and provide counseling services and referrals when appropriate.
- Develop detailed Individualized Treatment Plans for each client and regularly assesses progress, providing updates to the Individualized Treatment Plan as needed.
- Provide hospitality and exceptional customer service to all clients and community partners.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and data entry that meets organizational standards.
- Conduct individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Utilize evidenced-based therapeutic modalities to promote positive behavior changes and symptom reduction.
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed.
- Report any suspected abuse or neglect to all appropriate state and county enforcement agencies.
- Maintain own schedule of office visits, special events, and outreach events.
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement of a master's degree in psychology, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related mental health field.
- Possession of a valid license to practice in Texas (LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFTA) with no complaints and/or restrictions imposed on your license.

- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other professionals to coordinate care when necessary.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Availability to work some evenings and/or Saturdays.
- Adherence to ethical guidelines established by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with diverse groups of people from all community, social, and economic segments.
