Responsibilities:

The position will teach lessons during studio hours of Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 9:30 pm, & Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Direct existing students on their current dance plan and help define new student dance plans.
Follow and improve the specified syllabus.
Coordinate schedule and follow-up with students and parents of students.
Attend various dance competitions throughout the calendar year.
Be inclusive to all customers of DB Studios, enhancing the community experience.
Ability to be on time for lessons and demonstrate consistency. "On-time" means to be prepared for lessons at the start time of the lesson.
Choreograph student routines. Ranges from solo to large group performances.
Support other teachers and choreographers with improving students technique or choreography.

Qualifications & Experience:

Candidates should have a strong work ethic.
Be open to feedback.
5+ years of experience as a dance instructor OR formal dance degree from college or university.
Sales experience
Experience with one or more styles of dance including: Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Competitive Dance, Acrobatic Arts, Hip-hop.
