Quality Improvement Data Abstractor

Under direct supervision, this position will collect and track a variety of information for all patients who are enrolled in medical home payer initiatives. Manages the reporting of data to commercial and government payers as appropriate. Maintains all data and compliance reporting. Assists with data management functions of the clinical quality improvement department. Conducts case finding audits and quality control reviews to ensure reliability completeness and consistency of data. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of two years of clinical and/or quality improvement related experience required, medical coding or business office experience beneficial. Knowledge of current Oncology Medical Home plans and reports a plus.
