CNC Machine Operator - Level 1

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CNC Machine Operator - Level 1 for an opportuntiy in Kent, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

CNC machinists work with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery to setup materials and proper cutting tools, operation of machinery, and produce parts and tools from metal, plastic and a variety of materials meeting program designated shapes, cuts, and other requirements. A general machinist is a skilled craftsperson who sets up and operates precision metal cutting machines such as lathes, and Mills both CNC and Manual types.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Experience working with Machines and Machining Cell Systems both horizontal and vertical in variations of 3-axis , 4-axis, and 5-axis types.
• Basic Math skills
• Five to Ten (5 to 10) years experience either in a production or job shop environment.
• Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprints/engineering drawings and work order instructions.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers.
• Must be able to take verbal and written instructions.
• Attention to detail -Hard worker - Good attitude
• Aerospace experience is preferred
