Glass Manufacturing Worker

WorkSourceinFort Smith is now hiring for a Glass Manufacturing company in the Van Buren area. To qualify, you should have at least 6 monthsof previous experience working within an industrial environment.

Compensation

• Monday through Friday
• Weekly paychecks
• The possibility for long-term hire

Responsibilities

• Cutglass panels to customer specifications
• Laminateglass panels, ensuring that the laminate contains no air pockets or defects
• Drillholes in glass panels when needed, ensuring that the glass remains undamaged
• Edgeandpolishglass panels
• Temperand UV bondglass to prepare them for assembly
• Miterglass edgesaccording to order specifications
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous industrial experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read atape measure
• Capable of standing, turning, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation
• Good attendance
