Position Summary

The Digital Content Producer will work with the Marketing Team to write, develop, edit, and publish content or a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, and infographics that will be used by the California South Division to promote services and increase brand awareness. She/he will be responsible for end-to-end video storytelling and production.

Essential Functions

l. Create messaging, marketing materials, and various forms of digital online copy.

2. Plan and produce video content such as video ads, virtual press conferences, interviews, sizzle reels, and podcasts.

3. Supervise and execute remote/studio /location shoots.

4. Oversee projects in each phase of production, (scripting, coordinating, production, and postproduction).

5. Develop and maintain best practices and QC checklists for standard video production.

6. Participate in production planning meetings and use campaign KPis to identify creative solutions.

7. Operate AV equipment for livestream or recorded events and ensure production levels in line with The Salvation Army brand and voice.

8. Assist media partners to cover live events, provide b-roll packages for television news, etc.

9. Maintain, track usage and secure inventory of equipment.

10. Organize, catalogue, and archive digital assets for use by internal teams and future projects.

11. Other duties as assigned by Digital Marketing Manager or Marketing Team.

Working Conditions

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, reach overhead and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Able to grasp, push, pull objects such as video equipments, and lift up to 25 lbs. Inhouse position in casual, open workspace environments. Many shoots are off-site.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Film, Media or Visual Arts or equivalent experience.

2. 3-5 years videography, video editing, and producing experience.

3. Created compelling media that aligns with theindustry's highest standards (portfolio required).

4. Advanced or certified in Premiere, Final Cut, InDesign, Audition and Photoshop, After Effects.

5. Valid California OMV License.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

1. A keen sense of storytelling through editing (i.e. graphics, music, sequencing, etc.). Basic understanding and comfort with aftereffects and motion-tracking a plus.

2. An open mind, natural sense of flexibility, and collaborative, team-first approach to work.

3. Ability to deliver projects with aggressive turnarounds,organize assets, and adhere to brand standards.

4. Experience developing and executing content for social media platforms.

5. Strong understanding of emerging web-video technologies.

6. Self-start who can work independently.
