Aircraft Seat Cover Change

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Seat Cover Change Agents to join our team. The ideal candidates will have an unrestricted driver's license for at least one full year with a clean driving record and preferably previous work experience cleaning or changing seat covers on aircraft, buses, trains, etc. Successful candidates for these positions are able to work quickly and efficiently, ensuring all safety and operational guidelines are followed during every service provided. You are reliable, punctual, cordial to your co-workers and a self-starter. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive "can-do" attitude and you are very motivated to go above and beyond what is expected.

Pay Rate:

$17.00/hr

Shift:

• Overnight, includes weekends and holidays

Work Description:

The Aircraft Seat Cover Change Agent position requires the employee to remove and replace seat covers from aircraft seats. Seat covers are attached with velcro and will require pressure/force to be used when removing and replacing. Scrub, brush, and wipe leather seat covers with a towel damped with a diluted solution of chemical (based on airline specs) and water, to perform ink wipes and deep cleans on leather seats.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect materials and part numbers to ensure they match the proper aircraft that will be serviced and load into the vehicle.
• Stage parts on designated aircraft, remove and replace seat covers in an orderly fashion.
• Bag dirty seat covers and remove from the work area; place dirty covers into laundry bins to be sent to the dry-cleaning facility.
• Inspect, identify, spot clean, and/or scrub stained areas on leather seats.
• Remove and replace seat pocket material, cross seat belts, and clean area if necessary.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of work completed.
• Practice safe work methods.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Speak and understand English
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, 10-year background check (criminal/employment) and be able to obtain a required airport security clearance
• VALID Driver's License (NOT ID) for at least 1 full year with a clean driving record. (License cannot have any restrictions)

Work Environment:

Work is performed on airfield ramp (inside and outside of aircraft), which is exposed to outdoor weather conditions and elevated noise levels.

• Occasional (1-3hrs): Driving, sitting, and climbing.

• Lifting 25-50 lbs. max with frequent lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.
