However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to Lead or Supervise as an MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR: perform common Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor tasks such as planning multi-trade work operations involving electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting; estimating time, materials and equipment required to complete maintenance and repair projects; organizing work assignments where judgment as to individual abilities are involved; evaluating work and providing guidance through interpreting oral and written instructions for facility maintenance and repair; AND performing quality control checks on subordinate workers, identifying problem areas and making recommendations for improvements.
