As a Sedgwick Government Solutions Bill Review Manager, you will work remotely in your home office and be responsible for managing and providing leadership and guidance to the Bill Review unit related to bill processing and payments ensuring a highly productive, cost-effective unit; and ensuring the Bill Review unit meets departmental goals and objectives. Bill Review Manager Responsibilities * Manages and administers bill review and processing; develops bill review/processing procedures and policies. * Develops, creates, and maintains current manuals and other references ensuring compliance with regulations, as well as internal and external goals and objectives. * Assigns and monitors workflow for the unit ensuring processing is accurate and timely; ensures the unit is highly productive and cost-effective. * Provides process, procedure, and system training to unit staff; trains and educates the medical groups in billing procedures. * Audits and recovers overpayments. * Analyzes and resolves billing issues. * Reviews and analyzes payment histories to determine proper payments; audits and recovers overpayments. * Collects, evaluates, and utilizes data from various sources to monitor and improve processing performance. * Conducts staff meetings; keeps staff abreast of policy and procedure changes. * Performs other duties as assigned. Bill Review Manager Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. * Six (6) years of medical bill review/ payment experience plus customer service call center experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years of management experience.Thorough knowledge of medical bill review and payment processes and procedures * Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills * PC literate, including Microsoft Office products * Leadership/management/motivational skills * Experience working in the Health Care industry * Excellent oral and written communication skills * PC literate, including Microsoft Office products * Strong organizational skills * Good interpersonal skills * Analytical and interpretive skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent negotiation skills * Good judgment and discretion skills * Ability to manage reports and metrics * Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities * Ability to work in a team environment * Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies * U.S. Citizenship * Prior to hiring and training must be able to pass a preliminary credit and background check For a career path that is both challenging and rewarding, join Sedgwick Government Solution’s talented team.
