Benefits Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Benefits Specialist with a company in Oxnard, CA. We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of benefits experience and extensive HRIS and Excel knowledge.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all communication with vendors, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators through the open enrollment season
• Provide expertise and act as point of contact in answering employee questions regarding benefits
• Complete audits and check for accuracy in all benefit data
• Implement new processes for improvement in efficiency and to best serve employees
• Conduct benefit administration through open enrollment period and assist with all day-to-day operations
• Maintain employee files including benefits information ensuring any necessary or updates changes are properly addressed
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all questions related to health, dental, vision, life, and other related benefit questions
• Verify the correct calculation of the monthly premium payments for all group insurance policies and maintain data relative to premiums, claims, and costs
• Assist Benefits Manager with any tasks/projects throughout open enrollment season

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related field strongly preferred
• At least 5 years of benefit administration or analyst experience
• Extensive HRIS and Benefit Portal experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills, strong communication and ability to work as a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills

Pay Rate: 45K-55K
