Professional Engineer for Environmental Position – Develop Engineering Division for Highlands Environmental Solutions, an Environmental Consulting and Services Firm

Position

• Current PE license required
• 10 years plus experience
• SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure in depth knowledge)
• Extensive regulatory knowledge
• Permitting knowledge and experience
• Degree required – Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering

Position Challenges

· Extensive consulting experience with multiple environmental areas for example: remediation, spill response, real estate development, industrial, municipal, possibly DOD

• Land design and grading experience
• Wetland and/or wastewater experience helpful Excellent technical writing skills and experience of detailed plans and reports
• Extensive experience in field activities on clients’ behalf
• Ability and experience to think “outside the box” and be creative for positive results
• Experience with SPCC, Storm Water, UST, AST
• Entrepreneurial abilities – identify opportunities for clients, help them see the value
• Demonstrated communication skills: Positively engage clients and coworkers verbally at all levels
• Positively engage clients and coworkers electronically
• Positively engage clients and coworkers in writing
