Junior Contracts Support Specialist

General Qualifications

Provide basic professional contracts support. This candidate will systematically and effectively assist the Contracts Manager in the management, creation, and execution of contracts to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk. The candidate will assist in the compliance with terms are met, as well as documenting of changes or amendments that may arise during implementation or execution.

Required Skills

Know and Understand contract policies, procedures, performance standards, operating practices, and performance standards.

Know and Understand the process of updating contracts, ensuring all data is accurate, and complete.

Identifies billable events and ensures timely invoicing.

Monitors invoice payments and supports timely payment of invoices.

Resolve any discrepancies; executes acknowledgement and all associated documentation.

Monitors contract performance to contract close out.

Specialized Skills

Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and related federal and state legislation and regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, WAWF, DFAS Vendor System, QuickBooks, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Knowledge of international business management.

Excellent oral and written communication.

Prefer two (2) years' experience in contract management role.

Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Eligible for SECRET level clearance.
