In order to be considered for this position you must be fluent in English and Spanish.  Portuguese is a plus.

 

Deliver a positive customer experience by effectively selling Precisely’s portfolio of products in the Data Availability space with particular focus on security offerings.  Assist the regional team(s) as necessary to handle daily sales activities including but not limited to prospecting, lead follow-up, updating CRM, negotiating, building quotes/proposals and closing.


  • Learn and understand the Company’s products and services
  • Work cooperatively within team concept to maximize efficiency and revenue growth within jointly assigned territory
  • Identify and understand business requirements in assigned account base
  • Protect and minimize risk of competitive offerings penetrating assigned accounts within the territory
  • Follow the Company’s approved sales methodology
  • Work closely with the Sales, Services and Support teams to manage existing customers and optimize new opportunities
  • Provide sales support to Sales Managers, Customer Account Managers and Sales Specialist as required

 

ESSENTIAL DELIVERABLES - Other deliverables may be assigned

  • Build and execute plan to introduce security offerings into customer base working with the team and security sales specialists.
  • Meet or exceed order quotas
  • Develop and execute a plan to generate interest for new and add-on business within assigned customer accounts
  • Document sales steps utilizing the Company’s CRM tool
  • Learn and understand the Company’s products and services
  • Work cooperatively within team concept to maximize efficiency and revenue growth within jointly assigned territory
  • Identify and understand business requirements in assigned account base
  • Protect and minimize risk of competitive offerings penetrating assigned accounts within the territory
  • Follow the Company’s approved sales methodology
  • Work closely with the Sales, Services and Support teams to manage existing customers and optimize new opportunities
  • Provide sales support to Sales Managers, Customer Account Managers and Sales Specialist as required

 

IMPACT ON THE BUSINESS

This position will quite often be the initial contact a customer/prospect has with the Company’s in a very competitive solutions marketplace.  The Customer Account Representative is expected to represent the Company and its products and services in a professional manner consistent with ethical standards above reproach and will provide a very positive customer experience.

 

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships via telephone with customers
  • Strong territory management skills with the ability to work in a team selling environment
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good PC skills

  • High School education required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in business, marketing, or sales preferred
  • One (1) plus year of successful sales experience; software sales experience highly preferred
  • One (1) year telesales experience successfully managing customers and selling products/services
  • Software telesales experience highly preferred
