Electrician Helper

We are now hiring: Electrical Helper / Electrical Installer

We are seeking…

Highly motivated individuals who are interested in working in the Building Automated Systems (BAS) Controls industry. Those with previous BAS controls installation, security and fire alarm, network systems, fiber optics, or low voltage electrical experience may apply. We are electrical contractors so this position is perfect for any candidate looking to get their foot in the door and create a lot of opportunities for your future.

You will be working on Commercial and Industrial construction projects in the DFW and surrounding areas.

All candidates must showcase the following skills and abilities:

• Effectively communicate in English both, orally and in writing form.
• Run and bend conduit.
• Pull plenum wire.
• Install/Connect devices.
• Install panels.
• Maintain the workplace safe and clean.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude.
• Keep up with progress reports.
• Must be flexible with time and be willing to work out of town occasionally - if needed

Requirements:

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Possess and use own hand tools (in good condition and quality)
• 1+ years of previous experience with related work preferred.
• Be familiar with commercial and industrial construction environments and processes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, crawl, bend, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Hours may vary depending on the jobsite 

Experience:

• Electrical experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• OSHA (Preferred)
