Job Summary: As a Special Education Resource Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing specialized support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs. • Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities within the school community and ensure that necessary accommodations are provided.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, IEPs, and related paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• State Certification: Valid teaching certification in Special Education from the state or jurisdiction in which you will be working.
• Special Education Expertise: In-depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices, including experience with various disabilities and teaching strategies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
