Job Summary: As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will work closely with the lead teacher to support the educational, social, and emotional development of preschool-aged students. • Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschoolers.
• Supervise and monitor children during classroom activities, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Offer guidance and positive reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior and conflict resolution among students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra assistance with tasks or activities.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians, sharing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Assist in maintaining a well-organized and clean classroom environment, including setting up learning centers and arranging furniture and materials.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or GED is typically required for this position.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Preferred but not always required.
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children, either through childcare, volunteering, or other relevant roles, is beneficial.
• Pass required background checks and screenings, including criminal background checks and child abuse clearances.
• Obtain or be willing to obtain certification in CPR and first aid for the safety and well-being of the children.
