Painter Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our commercial team. We work on all sorts of properties, but most of our jobs involve applying interior paint and industrial coatings. As a Painter, your main task will be to paint, but you will also assist with prep tasks, including patching holes, hanging drywall, sanding down rough surfaces, and setting up scaffolding. We are willing to train motivated applicants with no professional experience, but we expect all of our employees to keep a professional and safe workplace. Any experience you have working with professional sandblasting or paint spraying equipment is a plus.

Painter Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply paint and other coatings to drywall and other surfaces
  • Sand down or clean surfaces before applying paint
  • Patch walls and perform other prep tasks as necessary
  • Assist with mixing paint colors
  • Set up and take down scaffolding for larger jobs
  • Assist with drywall hanging
  • Clean spray nozzles, brushes, and all other equipment at the end of your shift

Painter Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
  • Commercial or industrial painting experience (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks
  • Comfortable working on tall ladders or scaffolding
  • Attention to detail
