Job Summary: As an Epic Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within our healthcare organization. You will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure the EHR system meets the needs of our healthcare providers and supports high-quality patient care. Your expertise in Epic applications, workflow analysis, and problem-solving skills will be essential in driving the success of our electronic health record initiatives.

• Epic System Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement Epic EHR modules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Configure and customize Epic applications to meet specific departmental and clinical needs. Assist with data conversion, migration, and validation during Epic implementation projects.
• Workflow Analysis and Optimization: Analyze clinical and administrative workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements. Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and translate them into Epic system configurations. Develop and implement workflow changes to enhance user experience and productivity.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure they are proficient in using Epic applications. Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues and system errors promptly.
• Epic System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades in collaboration with the IT department. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and data accuracy.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Epic's reporting tools to extract and analyze healthcare data for decision-making, compliance, and quality improvement purposes. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards as needed. Support data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Epic certification in relevant modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience working with Epic EHR systems, including implementation, configuration, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy and security regulations.
• Certification in healthcare information technology (HIT) or similar certifications is a plus.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Epic applications.
