What is a change agent?

A change agent helps their organization adjust to business transitions and innovations. Although change agents are often business leaders in upper management, anyone in an organization can be a change agent by merely helping in the effort to initiate and manage changes. As a change agent, your duties include identifying the need for change, persuading colleagues that coming changes are necessary and beneficial, creating a workplace environment that is open to change, translating vision into strategy, and turning strategies into specific project plans of action.
