General Summary
The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing complex custom software solutions to support Client business requirements. They are required to have proficiency and knowledge in tools that are relevant to that project and have extensive knowledge on industry standards and design patterns. Senior Application developers are required to implement business logic from business requirements and assist technical specialists in designing applications.
Essential Functions
 
  • Responsible for complex application design and development using various software technologies
  • Participate in technical design and review along with Senior Technical Specialist
  • Independently writes complex software programs based on design patterns
  • Creates unit test cases and participates in unit tests and systems tests as needed.
  • Integrates technical components into working application.
  • Works closely with Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure code quality.
  • Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops specifications to resolve them.
  • Resolves customer issues with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Understands Client business processes.
  • Strong System analysis and debugging skills.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the solutions delivery process from Design to System testing
  • Communicate with Business Analyst , the Project managers and tech team on the project
  • Create and maintain design documents as a part of software delivery lifecycle process.
  • Responsible for reviewing code
  • Enforce coding standards, review code and participates in tollgate reviews.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is desired.
