SUMMARY
Support the Human Resources team by assisting with recruiting coordination, employee onboarding, HR record maintenance, and day-to-day administrative functions. This role also contributes to employee support initiatives and general HR operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and maintain accurate employee onboarding documentation and records.
- Schedule and manage pre-employment requirements including background checks and screening activities.
- Assist with orientation and onboarding for newly hired employees, including temporary-to-permanent staff.
- Escalate employee relations concerns or policy-related matters to the appropriate HR contacts when needed.
- Provide support with leave administration, workers’ compensation matters, employee benefit questions, and enrollment activities.
- Help with additional HR projects, reporting, and departmental assignments as requested.
- Maintain organized employee files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Offer administrative assistance to HR leadership and support daily office operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources or administrative support experience preferred.
- Strong keyboarding and data management abilities with high accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required; HRIS experience such as ADP is beneficial.
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential employee information appropriately.
