Required Skill and Experience
The position will primarily be responsible for providing solutions on the Oracle Planning from customer's requirements. The selected candidate must be able to drive the ongoing implementation, do the fi-gap analysis and provide solutions to the gaps, production issues along with being well versed on data extraction, migration processes, interface design and implementation life cycle of Oracle ERP implementation.
The candidate should be an ASCP professional with unconstrained and constrained planning expertise to work in an environment where a 3rd party planning system is integrated with Oracle EBS ASCP to release planned orders. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge in forecast generation based on historical data/statistical calculations, its consumption based on rules for CTO and planning bills as part of demand planning and ATP based on collected data to recommend schedule ship date for SO based on capacity and material constraints.
• Must be versed in Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) to understand planning requirements and translate them into system configurations and functional designs.
• Must be able to set up planning parameters, calendars, sourcing rules, and lead times.
• Must be able to design planning models for multi-org or multi-plant environments
• Participate in functional testing and co-ordinate with cross functional stakeholders for timely delivery of the solutions developed.
• Analyze planning performance and recommend optimization strategies
• Onsite-Offshore communication and work management
• Leading Super User training and supporting other training related activities
• Coordination with other tracks for delivery of end-to-end business processes
• Supporting Data Conversions for Planning and Manufacturing data elements
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Testing and deployment of custom solutions for Oracle Planning, Inventory, Bills of Materials, Work in Process and manufacturing modules
• Knowledge on best practices followed in global manufacturing industries, able to give solutions/suggestions to the client.
• Experience in Oracle implementation including development of integrations, custom reports and extensions.
Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
