Right now, we are seeking a detail-oriented Processor I to join our GAP Claims team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with strong customer retention skills and hands-on experience in high-volume document and contract processing. In this role, you will apply strict attention to detail to follow written procedures, resolve claims accurately, and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. The Processor I, GAP Claims is responsible for reviewing, processing, and adjudicating Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) claims in accordance with company guidelines, policy provisions, lender requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strong and effective communicator, has high emotional intelligence, loves problem solving, and has a customer focused mindset.

Top Responsibilities:
  • Review and process GAP claims from initial submission through final resolution
  • Verify claim eligibility by analyzing contracts, loan documents, payoff statements, insurance settlements, total loss documentation, and various other documents required
  • Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with policy terms
  • Calculate GAP benefits accurately and issue payments within established service-level standards
  • Communicate professionally with lenders, dealerships, insurance carriers, customers, and internal teams to obtain missing information and provide claim status updates
  • Identify discrepancies, potential fraud, or coverage issues and escalate as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Work onsite Monday - Friday (Grapevine, TX)
  • A minimum of six months’ experience working with GAP claims with a TPA Warranty company, preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Be able to type 45 WPM
  • 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on customer retention
  • 1 year of document and contract processing and retrieval
  • Bilingual – Spanish/English (Preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills, including Office 365
  • Proficient data entry accuracy with a strict attention to detail
  • Basic mathematical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to follow written procedures and apply them consistently
  • Comfortable learning new systems, terminology, and contractual requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Professional, dependable, and receptive to coaching and feedback
