    Shift Time: 11am -8 pm
    Job Overview:
    We are currently seeking a GAP - Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position. We are looking for a candidate who can provide excellent call center support for high volume incoming claim inquiry calls from leasing companies, dealers, agents, customers, and other internal / external parties.
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Handle a high volume of incoming / outbound calls from external customers related to claim processing issues and the reporting of losses
    • Accurate and timely data entry in multiple Microsoft based applications
    • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding all aspects of claim property damage, injury and other personal information
    • Perform various clerical duties under immediate supervisor and exercises independent judgment and decision making in accordance with specified policies and guidelines
    • Assist GAP Adjusters in completing their pending reports
    • The CSR will support the GAP Claims Customer Service Department by maintaining an organized environment and exhibiting a positive and professional attitude within the department
    • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
    • Abide by the appropriate standards of ethics, be reliable, understand and follow oral & written directions

    Job Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, insurance claims, call/claims center environment
    • Proficient in Windows and MS-Office Products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
    • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
    • Must have the ability to be well organized, pay attention to detail, multitask, and communicate effectively
    • Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
    • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing of materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
    • Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and service policy issues
    • Superior verbal/written skills and communications skills
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interacting with customers and vendors
    • Attention to detail and ability to handle complex situations
    • Proficient in Windows and MS-Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
    • Preferred: Ability to read, write and speak both English, French, or Spanish in a business setting
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
