Job description

Structure
The Associate Director, Data Operations is an exempt (salaried) position employed by the University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) and reports to the Director, Data Operations.
Focus
The Associate Director, Data Operations serves as a tactician overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Foundation enterprise data through best practice data hygiene methods. The Associate Director manages the utility and availability of data assets while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This position is accountable to deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making at all levels of the organization by ensuring that data accuracy and data quality standards are met.
Specific Duties
  • Structure data collection in multiple sources and integrations across the Foundation, University, and Heath entities.
  • Execute data operations including collection, storage, and processing, according to security standards and strategy.
  • Research, identify, and analyze data gaps in the CRM database, and recommend integrity reports and data enhancements for optimal data.
  • Maintain data frameworks as set forth in data governance, and evaluate and refine data operations as needed.
  • Translate complex data requirements into actionable plans ensuring alignment with data initiatives and business strategy and goals.
  • Develop data validation protocols and conduct regular audits to address issues proactively.
  • Maintain data compliance with internal and external governing bodies.
  • Champion continuous improvement, regular review, and adapt to evolving business needs and emerging data challenges.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing data within a database.
  • Proficiency in data management platforms and business intelligence tools.
  • Organized and detail oriented with the capacity to work in an environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to process and manage large quantities of data in a logical and analytical fashion.
  • Ability to solve problems, handle multiple, complex tasks with accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining a professional demeanor in fast-paced work environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

What We Offer
The anticipated starting salary range for the Associate Director, Data Operations role is $55,000 to $65,000 annually. When determining final offer amount the UC Foundation considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
