Job Description:
The HR Intern position at AAON offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Interns will support various business functions by assisting with projects, conducting research, and contributing to process improvements. This role is designed to provide exposure to real-world business operations while developing professional skills and industry knowledge. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and participate in team-based initiatives that align with AAON's strategic goals.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborates with HR professionals to support people-related initiatives across the organization.
  • Assists in the development and execution of human resources initiatives to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Participates in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
  • Conducts research and analysis on best practices related to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Information Systems.
  • Gathers feedback from stakeholders and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
