Join our vibrant team at the YMCA as a Welcome Center Staff member, where you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for members and visitors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage with the community, support organizational goals, and develop valuable customer service skills in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide information about YMCA programs, memberships, and services
  • Handle member check-ins and registrations efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center area
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, phone coverage, and scheduling
  • Promote YMCA programs and membership opportunities to encourage community engagement
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and registration software
  • Dependability and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred
