Job description

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst with our financial services client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6 month contract hybrid position.
Summary:

Support Data Security mission critical initiatives. The Enterprise Information Protection (EIP) team is leading an effort to remediate data security related findings. This individual will be working within a team that is responsible for aiding in the validation and remediation of findings within our data security posture management tool, Varonis, and will also be instrumental in continued operations as those processes are developed. This role will require excellent communication skills given the amount of outreach to users, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-moving, results-driven team. This individual will aid in the creation of metrics that track the progress of the initiatives and remediation efforts as well as collaboration with the Application, Rules & Content SME for Varonis to tune policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid in the validation and remediation of findings within the Varonis data security posture management tool.
  • Assist in the continued operations of data security processes as they are developed.
  • Aid in the creation of metrics to track the progress of initiatives and remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Application, Rules & Content SME for Varonis to tune policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with data security
  • Excellent communication skills for user outreach and team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, results-driven team environment.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Pay rate up to $56.37 hourly.
