Electronics Repair Technician EOT
Introduction
ASML brings together leading minds in science and technology to develop lithography systems that enable the production of faster, more affordable, and more energy-efficient microchips. Headquartered in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, ASML operates 18 offices across the United States, including major sites in Chandler, Arizona; San Jose and San Diego, California; Wilton, Connecticut; and Hillsboro, Oregon.
EO Technical Solutions (EOT) is based in Vancouver, Washington and is focused on repair and refurb of a broad portfolio of ASML PAS and XT platform parts. EOT is a small organization that was acquired by ASML in 2023. In addition to parts repair, EOT provides customer training and field support.
Working at EOT offers the opportunity to join a small team with significant autonomy, broad responsibilities, and the ability to make a measurable impact.
Role and responsibilities
An EO Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for repairing PCB's and integrated sub-assemblies and support the development of repair and diagnostic procedures. In addition, this role includes working together with various levels of professionals within EOT such as engineering, procurement, and sales.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies at the component and board level, with a strong focus on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Perform soldering and rework on both through-hole and surface-mount components, following best practices for quality and reliability.
  • Interpret and follow work instructions, schematics, bills of materials, and repair documentation accurately.
  • Use diagnostic tools and test equipment (such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies) to identify faults and verify repairs.
  • Document repair actions, findings, and test results clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure repairs meet functional and quality standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining consistent workmanship.
  • Follow established processes, safety guidelines, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair status, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues or potential process enhancements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.

Education and experience
  • Technical training or education in electronics, electrical repair, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solder and rework both through-hole and surface-mount components.
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic assemblies or PCBs is highly valued.
  • Practical experience following written work instructions, schematics, or repair procedures.
  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, repair, or testing environments is a plus.

Other Information
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $51,000 - $68,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
