Chiropractic Office Assistant Part-Time (Medical)

Here at Family Friendly Chiropractic we like to help educate and promote our community with their chiropractic needs. Family Friendly Chiropractic is looking for an energetic, friendly and professional female Office Assistant for our busy chiropractic office. In this position we are looking for a part time Chiropractic Office Assistant to help with patients. The hours are a rotating schedule of AM and PM shifts Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. This is a wonderful job opportunity that will help you learn the medical side of an Office Assistant and will help you gain a lot of knowledge as well.

Requirements:

• High School Equivalency Required.
• Must be 18+ to be considered.
• Clinic experience preferred.
• Patient on hand help with Chiropractor in room: example assists in one on one contact hooking up patients to TENS Unit
• People skills are important! Must be an outgoing individual and be comfortable communicating with patients and employees daily.
• Comfortably working with the elderly and children
• Must be comfortable multitasking -- this is NOT a desk job
• Must have own form of transportation to and from work
• Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with technology

Responsibilities/Duties:

Reception- (Scheduling/rescheduling appointments, answering phones, completing health files, insurance verification, managing accounts, and customer service.

Assisting Patients- (Help assist the chiropractor with patients, setting patients up on therapy treatments, helping with paperwork)

Office Duties- (Call on insurance benefits/insurance problems, filing, billing, medical records, tidying up office etc.)
