Job Description: Company: Headquartered in Clearwater, MN, TelCom Construction is an established national underground utility contractor with growing market presence within the telecommunications industry. Overview: Under the direction of the EHS Manager, this position assists in maintaining compliance with various government regulations, insurance company requirements and Company goals by monitoring systems and data as well as preparing and interpreting corresponding reports for use by various levels of Management Responsibilities:Monitors and administers EHS-related systems;Collects, reviews, organizes, records and appropriately files various types of safety and claims documentation. Reports potential policy and/or procedural issues to management;Updates and analyzes reports to ensure policy compliance;Documents processes and procedures as they relate to matters of responsibility;Reviews and evaluates safety incidents and claims then makes recommendations for resolution;Facilitates and maintains extensive contact with both internal and external stakeholders;Assists with delivering training presentations as needed;Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:High school or GED plus minimum of 6 months prior related administrative experience required. Prior business claims, safety program administration or other related experience and/or training is strongly preferred;In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel including creation, edit and understanding of pivot tables is required;Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, correspondence and memos;Effective, respectful and professional written and verbal communication;Analytical Problem solver and logical thinker;Acute attention to detail;Ability to control essential job functions in a fast paced environment that interacts with both internal and external work crews and customers;Team oriented, keeping organizational needs at the forefront;Familiarity with Google-based applications such as G-mail, Google docs and sheets;Proficient use of Internet software and databases;Understanding and use of general arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, units of measure and weight using whole numbers, fractions and decimals;Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed;Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record required;May require travel within TelCom’s footprint if necessary (0-10%).
