Summary
Middlestreet Graphic and Display is seeking a skilled and reliable operator to manage both flatbed die-cutting equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Middlestreet Graphic and Display is seeking a skilled and reliable operator to manage both flatbed die-cutting equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain flatbed die-cutting machines
- Perform changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly
- Interpret job tickets, drawings, and cut files for accurate execution
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct routine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Optimize material usage and minimize waste
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- 2+ years of die cutting or similar equipment experience
- Experience with digital cutters (e.g., Zünd, Elitron, CNC routers, laser cutters)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret job specs, layouts, and structural drawings
- Familiarity with materials like corrugate, plastics, and SBS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail and precision in cutting
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and safety protocols
- Ability to identify and correct cutting defects
- Experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
