Die Cut Operator - West Chester, OH
Shift: 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm)
Pay: $27.15/hr.
Summary:
The Bobst Die Cut Operator is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
  • Set up and operate the die cut machine.
  • Responsible for prepping machine for the next production run, sheets, dies, etc.
  • Evaluate production quality; bring concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist in training other die cut personnel.
  • Troubleshoot production issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to routine maintenance spelled out in the Preventive Maintenance procedures.
  • Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Overtime is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED Minimum
  • Ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have prior die cut experience

The starting rate is$27.15 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
