With more than 250 years of combined expertise, multiple production sites, and a commitment to sustainable, state-of-the-art technology, Oliver Inc. pairs craftsmanship with speed, consistency, and nimbleness.

Weโ€™re growing our Finishing team and seeking a seasoned professional who takes pride in building quality through every fold and bead of glue.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Youโ€™ll independently set up, adjust, and operate foldingโ€“gluer equipment to meet exact specifications, balancing output, accuracy, and safety through the run. Your day may include:

  • Configuring feeder, glue systems, plow and fold plates, compression sections, the pack station, and in-line quality inspection devices.
  • Tuning equipment for proper folding sequence, glue application, paperboard caliper, scoring alignment, and carton integrity.
  • Setting up and running automated, computer-controlled inspection systems to assure quality.
  • Monitoring output continuously and making precise adjustments to maintain consistency.
  • Performing routine preventive maintenance and handling minor repairs.
  • Reading job tickets and layouts, confirming schedules, and maintaining accurate inventory counts.
  • Completing end-of-run cleanup and keeping the area organized and safe.
  • Following all safety procedures and contributing ideas to continuous improvement.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Previous experience operating foldingโ€“gluer equipment in printing, packaging, or folding-carton manufacturing (preferred).
  • Hands-on background with Bobst or similar machines (highly preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for both process and quality issues.
  • Knowledge of glue systems, scoring, folding sequences, and carton construction.
  • Ability to interpret job tickets and production layouts; comfortable using calipers, rulers, and gauges.
  • Solid math competency, including measurements and unit conversions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; collaborative communicator.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
