Job description

Job Purpose:
Our Operator will safely and efficiently operate Die Cutter Machine in a manner that consistently meets customer expectations while continuously improving productivity and lowering cost.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met by reviewing job specifications, entering accurate data in Company's operating system, properly labeling materials, and following quality procedures.
• Operate die cutter/foil stamper efficiently by setting up and performing scoring, perforating, and die cutting, maintaining necessary supplies, and keeping tools organized.
• Support a productive and continuously improving work environment by identifying process improvements, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting with cross-functional tasks and special projects.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Work Experience:
2+ years related experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
Education:
• High School Diploma/GED Preferred
• Regularly working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse where exposure to cold, heat, damp humid conditions may occur.
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, and moving vehicles.
