Converting Line Mechanic / Set-up Operator


GCH is seeking a Converting Line Mechanic/Set-Up Operator to support flexible packaging production operations. The role focuses on machine set-ups, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, safety compliance, and production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical set-ups on:
    • Auto-wicketers
    • Pouch machines
  • Complete daily preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Identify and promptly report equipment breakdowns.
  • Maintain and enforce safety and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate activities and follow direction from supervisors.
  • Review work orders, production schedules, and reports to determine production requirements.
  • Support continuous production efficiency and operational goals.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
