This position supports the International Business Unit and will have an active role in: reporting on weekly sales performance, preparing the monthly business review for the International Leadership Team, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes along with other key ad-hoc analyses. The position will also track and analyze General & Administrative expenses and perform analysis on various ad hoc international initiatives.


  • Prepare and compile monthly detailed financial results and analysis for presentation to Senior Leadership. This will include variance explanations versus forecast, prior year, and the annual operating plan. 
  • Plays a key role in the Annual Operating Plan and leading the quarterly forecast process, consolidating inputs from all regions. 
  • Maintain detailed records of restaurant sales and FX and ensure weekly reporting to the business is accurate. Play key role in automation of sales reports and other data & analytics projects.
  • Support quarterly financial reporting and audit processes 
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis which support key business decisions

  • Education: Bachelors Degree: Finance or Accounting required
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of GAAP, operations, supply chain, and financial analysis.
  • MBA or CPA with Big 4 experience preferred 
  • Experience with computer modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications. Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications and communicate to business users. 
  • 2 to 4 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization. Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus.

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs. #LI-Onsite

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
