GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The senior accountant will provide support to the Fiscal Department.
ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS: Perform Income Statement account analysis and reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts for all entities.

  • Prepares and posts journal entries, including patient revenue entries
  • Prepares Admin and other costs allocation spreadsheets and post the cost allocation entries
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets
  • Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Assist with audits and performs other tasks as required by the Finance Director.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business required.

  • Three (3) years of work-related experience required.
  • Understanding of applicable wage and hour laws.
  • Experience with the use of Solomon software preferred.
