Medical Imaging Analyst

Overview St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a career destination for individuals who desire to work in the world's first Proton Therapy Center designated solely for the treatment of pediatric cancer. The Department of Radiation Oncology recognizes the importance of imaging as the new frontier in radiation oncology and are allocating substantial resources to streamline operations within daily clinical operations and multi-center research trials. We currently have an opening for a Medical Imaging Analyst to perform high-throughput automated imaging analyses. The ideal candidate will have experience with imaging pipeline development, PET imaging analysis, MR neuro-imaging protocols, diffusion imaging, PET, Spectral CT and MR perfusion and anatomic sequences.

Experience in ASL-based perfusion imaging is added benefit. Relevant software includes Matlab, FreeSurfer, SPL and MIM. Knowledge of Python, R, C++, SQL and Linux is preferred. The Medical Imaging Analyst will collaborate with faculty and staff both within the department and across the institution both in clinical efforts and research support.

Collects, documents, organizes, and maintains data obtained from medical imaging studies. Processes radiation oncology and proton therapy research data using a variety of analytical software.
