Role Summary Join our team and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for incoming calls, requests and orders and ensures that the servers are set up for success in delivery of items and communicates with other departments about amenities and items to be delivered to guest rooms. The coordinator is well versed in all menu items and can articulate deftly to guests.

Key Responsibilities Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests requests.

Assist co-workers set trays and make sure the phone is always attended Provide prompt, efficient and gracious service to guests, including artfully describing menu items, correct use of the point of sale computer system, and ensure timely service. Communicate via email and radio with other departments in the resort Correctly settle all guest checks, correct handling of cash, credit cards and room charge. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all service areas in accordance with departmental procedures.

Maintain and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures.

Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Be familiar with hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. knowledgeable of all Food and Beverage events and be able to answer any questions regarding them.

abide by all injury reporting and safety behavior requirements. maintain positive working relationships with other, and support the food and beverage team to reach common goals. Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

Strong organizational skills. Required Qualifications Valid Food Handlers Card. Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests and staff, to their understanding.

Must be able to handle multiple phone calls at one time. Ability to anticipate and understand guests' needs. Strong organizational skills.

Ability to move quickly and safely through the workspace. Ability to focus attention on service details. Ability to follow directions thoroughly.

Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. Physical Demands Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities.

Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity. Occasional need to stand and sit for long periods of time. Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.

Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms' reach. Golf cart driving (daytime and evening hours).

Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment. Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
