About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep AI expertise to design, build, and scale mission-focused applications. In this role, you will lead the integration of Generative AI workflows, data pipelines, and cloud-native DevSecOps architectures within an Agile Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities- AI & Feature Engineering: Design and deploy Generative AI features (LLMs, RAG, ontology-based applications) and integrate multi-stream data pipelines.
- Cloud & Modern Infrastructure: Lead cloud platform migrations (AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes), implement microservices with Docker/Helm, and ensure secure deployment across complex networks.
- Full-Lifecycle Development: Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, practice DevSecOps (code hardening, vulnerability remediation, automated testing), and write clean, maintainable code using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Agile Execution & Leadership: Active participation in Scrum ceremonies, refine user stories, maintain repositories, and mentor junior developers.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience (or 14+ years in IT in lieu of a degree).
- Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Core Languages: Strong hands‑on proficiency with Python, Java, and Scala.
- AI & Data: Direct experience building LLM-enabled workflows, RAG systems, RESTful APIs, and managing complex data transformations.
- DevOps & Cloud: Demonstrated experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS, Git workflows, CI/CD, and DevSecOps security scanning.
- Collaboration: Strong troubleshooting skills with a track record of cross‑functional team collaboration and technical communication.
- Experience with graph‑based data models, ontologies, and data visualization.
- Proven experience presenting technical metrics to stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers.
