Saz's State House Restaurant has been wowing guests for more than 45 years, and we'd love your help to keep them coming back for more!

We want fun, energetic folks who love to hustle and have a passion for service to join our established team. Our kitchen needs you! Saz's is slinging a lot more than ribs these days. Our seasonal menu is full of fresh items that need a cook's finesse.

Consistent, full-time hours are available, or take on a part-time role if that's what you're looking for. Working with our team, Weekend availability is necessary. Shifts range from 7-10 hours and our kitchen closes by 10pm. Set schedules are available for our team members! Did I mention we are closed on Mondays?

Experienced line cooks will come on board with us earning at least $16.50 per hour, and with more experience, that number goes up!

To keep delicious food on our tables, we are looking for experienced line cooks. If you know the ins and outs of kitchen operations and sanitation, EVEN BETTER!

Orientation and training for this position will start immediately!

Additional Requirements:

• At least 3 years of high-volume line cook experience strongly preferred
• Consistently produce food products using existing recipes and procedures
• Follow all safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures as instructed
• Knowledge of all basic cooking techniques and skills, including: knife skills, basic cuts, all cooking methods
• Knowledge of basic equipment including: fryer, convection oven, and griddle
• Basic understanding of herbs, spices, and various flavoring ingredients
• Ability to roast, broil, braise, sauté, fry, and grill (including breakfast items)
• Ability and flexibility to be continually rotated to different stations
• Complete tasks as instructed and within the time frame assigned
• Essential job functions
• Squat, kneel, climb ladders or step stools as needed
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals
• Grip objects and tools (including wet or slippery items); utilize fine motor skills
• Stand up to 10 hours at a time
• Lift up to 50 lbs to chest level and up to 30 lbs overhead
• Ability to communicate verbally in English
• Ability to read English
• Consistent, timely attendance
• Understanding of metric system of measurement
