Job Summary:
BigRio is a remote-based technology consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA, specializing in software solutions. They are seeking a dynamic Full Stack Developer with a strong background in Java SpringBoot and React to develop and maintain robust web applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Spring Boot, React.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and backend functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process when applicable.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement solutions promptly.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in Spring Boot, React, and Java development.
• Experience working in AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and startup culture, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Prior experience in fintech or e-commerce domains is advantageous.
