SQL &.NET Developer

We are seeking a skilled SQL &.NET Developer to join our team with a Randstad client in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and solutions using Microsoft technologies and frameworks. Your primary focus will be on creating efficient and robust solutions that align with the organization's objectives and best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Create efficient and robust solutions in line with organizational objectives.
• Support time-sensitive production activities and debug existing code.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Special Skillset Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Certifications:
  • Microsoft technical certification in the relevant product.
  • Certification in at least one formal development methodology.
• Experience:
  • Minimum six years in Information Technology.
  • At least five years in a developer role.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in MS.NET,.NET Core, C#, SQL Server.
  • Experience with change and release management processes.
  • Ability to estimate time, effort, dependencies, and resources for development tasks.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Service Delivery: Experience working in client-focused service delivery environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Design and develop new features from requirements and support production activities.
• Debug existing code and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Proficiency in C# and familiarity with the .NET framework.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with IT teams and business customers.
• Extensive experience in programming and/or systems analysis.
• Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards.

Must-Have Skill Set:

• Technologies: .NET,.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, SSIS, TSQL Coding, Stored Procedures, SSAS, SQL Cubes & Dimensions, BPC-MS.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience with financial reporting, financial systems, financial, and audit processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Functional knowledge of various MS and SAP BPC-MS application components.
• Tools: Familiarity with version control systems.
• Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
