Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is a company seeking a SQL Server Developer. The role involves designing and developing data warehouses and data lakes, as well as mentoring senior engineers in cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Must be strong with SQL.
• The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience with SQL and C# with some recent experience with AWS (AWS, S#, EMR, Hive, Python).
• First round interview will be technical specific to SQL and C# then with some light questions on AWS, data lake, python.
• This is a 100% development role.
• They already have the design, will show them the pipeline and they'll follow that pattern and start working on AWS data lake later.
• SQL is 50%, C# is 30%, AWS data lake is 20%.
• 10 years in sql/c# and 1-2 with AWS ideal.
• With C3, they may be changing or modifying their reporting engine executed in C#.
• Seeking a Database Engineer with AWS experience with a Data Warehousing background and C#.
• Data Engineer with experience in Microsoft Stack (MS SQL Server, C#) and Cloud based technologies (AWS).
• Candidate should have experience designing and developing data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines, analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Candidate must be fluent in designing product architecture within the cloud and inhouse.
• Needs to be comfortable mentoring senior level engineers in cloud technologies.
• Candidate should also have some web applications development experience using Microsoft/.NET.
