โ€ข DBA candidates must have installed MS SQL server, SSMS, SSIS on their PC/laptop. Any free version for MS SQL server would suffice. Candidate to provide some of the answers by demoing the activity that is being discussed during the Skype interview. Candidate must be able to manage / maintain large production databases.

Role Description:
โ€ข Database Administrator and SQL developer with 7 years of experience and expert-level skill in development, analysis, architecture, design, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of information systems hardware and software.
โ€ข Expert-level skill and knowledge and experience in DDL, DML, Physical and Logical Data Modeling (w/UML), Stored Procedures, DB Index Management, Normalization and de-normalization, Data replication, Reporting, ETL, database design, development, and administration-related concepts, methods, and tools
โ€ข Expert-level skill and knowledge and experience in Data Warehouse concepts, including data mining, data marts, on-line analytical processing (OLAP), etc.
โ€ข Expert-level skill and knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Business Intelligence Solutions, SQL Server Monitoring/Performance tools, Database security and integrity
โ€ข Resolve database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues.
โ€ข Determine and implement appropriate change management policies and processes.
โ€ข Install, configure, test/benchmark, and maintain the general health of database servers and related infrastructure, monitor system logs for alerts, errors and warnings, and available/free space on the OS and storage volumes, and analyze space usage history and recommend changes as needed.
