Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SQL Programmer to support the maintenance and enhancement of a comprehensive enterprise data warehouse environment. This role will focus on data transformation, automation, reporting, quality control, and analytical support to enable strategic decision-making across multiple business areas. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, experience with data warehouse environments, and the ability to collaborate closely with analytics and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data transformation and automation processes to support reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Build and optimize aggregate tables to support managerial and operational reporting requirements
  • Create and maintain refreshable data tables using SQL and platform-based tools
  • Optimize SQL scripts and data processing workflows to improve data refresh performance and system efficiency
  • Perform quality control checks across staging, operational data store (ODS), and reporting layers to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Implement automated data validation and integrity rules aligned with business logic and quality standards
  • Develop specialized datasets segmented by business area to support targeted reporting and analysis
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and generate custom datasets to address evolving business needs
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to internal analytics teams
  • Collaborate with analytics teams and stakeholders to align reporting solutions with business objectives
  • Participate in regular project and status meetings to communicate progress, challenges, and solution updates
  • Document data warehouse architecture, processes, scripts, integrations, and workflows to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer
  • Support quarterly review sessions focused on project performance, reporting tools, and process improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience with SQL programming and data transformation processes
  • Experience supporting data warehouse environments and enterprise reporting solutions
  • Experience developing automated data processing and refresh workflows
  • Strong understanding of data quality, data integrity, and validation processes
  • Experience building datasets and reporting structures for business analysis
  • Experience supporting ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
  • Familiarity with operational data stores (ODS), staging environments, and reporting layers
  • Experience working with CRM, financial, or operational data sources
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with analytics teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Salesforce NPSP, NetSuite, or similar enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with external data integrations and third-party data providers
  • Experience supporting marketing, audience, or operational analytics initiatives
