Programmer / Analyst - SQL & ETL to support and enhance critical financial systems within our IT Finance organization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in
MS SQL Server and
SSIS-based ETL development, along with strong production support experience. This role requires close collaboration with both business partners and technical teams to deliver stable, scalable, and high-performing data solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Build, enhance, and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS for data integration and transformation
- Monitor and support production jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
- Provide hands-on production support, including incident management and job monitoring
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues
- Participate in database performance tuning and optimization initiatives
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge bases
Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in application development and production support
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development
- 2+ years of experience with C#
- 1+ year of experience with VB.NET
- 1+ year of Python development experience
- Experience with Batch scripting and Groovy scripting
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling
- Proven experience supporting production systems and resolving incidents
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., Zena, Control-M, or similar)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
