About the job SQL Developer
VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining databases and data-driven applications for our pediatric healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop database solutions that meet their needs
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract data for reporting and analysis
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
  • Monitor database systems and proactively identify and address potential issues
  • Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and ER diagrams
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database development and administration
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator
  • Strong understanding of database design and development principles
