Job Summary:
Syntricate Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Z/OS professional to create high-performance, mission-critical applications. The role involves analyzing user requirements, ensuring software meets performance and security standards, and collaborating with developers to build scalable applications.
Responsibilities:
• Creating high-performance, mission-critical applications
• Analyzing user requirements and developing software solutions
• Ensuring software applications meet all performance and security requirements
• Working with other developers to create high-performance, scalable applications
• Researching new technologies and software development trends
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting
• Writing technical documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
• Deep understanding of the z/OS operating system.
• Proficient in Job Control Language for job management and task automation.
• Knowledge of mainframe hardware components.
• Familiarity with TSO/E and ISPF for administrative tasks.
• 8-10 years of experience in mainframe development.
Preferred:
• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
