Line Cook

Be a part of our Grand Opening restaurant that just opened in July 2021! We are located at the golf course on Firestone Farms, where we are excited to serve the golfing community our incredible menu inspired from our location in Boardman, and “drinks on the links.”

Pay Type: Starting at $12-$19+ per hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting our standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, remaining flexible to work any line stations as needed and complete food prep
• Ensure that station is stocked and set up prior to lunch and dinner rushes
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed, properly labeling, storing, and rotating food
• Keep the grill station and kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the management team
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing daily cleaning assignments

Requirements::

• Kitchen or Line Cook experience is required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and stand for up to 8 hours
• Attention to detail, specifically in food preparation and presentation
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace
• Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude, coachable
• Ability to communicate effectively with the kitchen team

Riser Tavern is locally owned neighborhood bar and grill that features upscale bar food. We pride ourselves on the fact that everything is made from scratch.
